The Optimist Fall Fest Poster

The Optimist is your neighborhood haunt filled with coffee, tea and locally baked goods. It’s the perfect place to meet up with a friend or work from anywhere.

The owners came to me needing a Halloween-themed poster for the Fall Fest they were putting on.

The examples below are from 2022 + 2023.

I knew in the beginning I wanted this to be hand-drawn with enough spooky-ness to go with the Halloween theme, while incorporating elements that are true to their brand. I used the gold from their logo and combined it with purples and blacks.

When it came to make corresponding posts for social media, I shifted the layout to be more of a concert poster look - listing out the vendors as if they were bands.
